I had the same mask and it got stolen when I was a teen. Expensive for its day. Where did you find one? I remember the rim was chrome plated aluminum which was unusual.

I got this one off of eBay for a few years ago. You’re right about the frame material, it must’ve been expensive to manufacture. The curved glass is really cool too.
