Summer is here, mind you, sometimes I feel like it is the endless summer here which is obviously a fantastic thing. Everyone is planning their summer vacation right now and what better way to spend it down here in Costa Rica. I have been taking a few days hiatus this week to focus on a few things in my own life, primarily trying to organize and stick to (oh that is so hard!) a new exercise and diet regime. The first is much easier than the second I can assure you. As the land of outdoor adventure there is no shortage of activities here. Today was an especially productive day, starting out with an hour dog walk to the beach and back, (i do really think I own some of the most spoiled dogs on the planet) followed by 2 surf sessions, one in Quepos and the second on Manuel Antonio beach. With the approaching summer and fun diving is even more fun with the surf. As the waves start to pick up and get bigger, the challenge is on and this season I will actually manage to go right (when I want to rather than as a shocker!) I have some different diving and CPR classes coming up as well which will be fun. With a full DAN instructor program starting at the beginning of June as well as 5 new divemaster interns coming in I will certainly be busy. August will bring us our next PADI Instructor program and with the August course, we are offering a fantastic saving on the PADI sidemount course so it may be that time to finally give the scuba bunny a buzz ?!!
I am already plotting and planning my schedule which will certainly consist of lots of scuba classes as well as lots of fun...summer here we come!
