Check this out. All the more reason to make sure you do your safety stops on every dive, no matter how deep you go.




UPDATE 20080618


So i went to my dive shop to get tanks and brought this story up. Apparently these guys WERE tech divers diving dry suits at Lake Pleasant. Well, one guy forgot to attach his low pressure inflator to his suit and got squeezed at 150 ft.(obviously right??) that’s why they shot up so fast. On a side note, they rented 4 nitrox bottles and don’t know where they’re at now, so they have to pay for 4 bottles, 4 pro adaptors, the works.

The article said they went to 150 feet! They should have absolutely done a safety stop. They shouldn’t have even been down that deep unless they were trained in tech diving. Thanks for sharing this information.
