August 16th 2008
Every one is very nervous and everyone is up early. We leave for the IE at 7:30 and everyone is already up at 5:30. I try to sleep but too much noise in house. When we get to the IE we meet Scott he is the examiner to this IE. The way the first day works out is we get the IE breifing:
1st we get our assignments for the pool, open water, classroom presentation, and the 5 skills.
2nd we get in the pool and demonstrate the 5 assigned skills.
3rd we have to do our confined water presentation.
4th some of us start writing our perscriptive lessons as we finish with our confined water presentation.
5th we start our tests half of us take the standards and the other half take the Dive Theory exams.
6th we present the classroom lessons and then we are done for the day.
Well I make it through the first day!!! Wew that is a load off the mind. Stress level is now to an acceptable level.
We will be going to the open water tomorrow and let you know how I did.
