Leisure Pro purchases

When it comes to equipment purchases, divers have many options regarding where to make their purchases. Generaly speaking, purchases can be done at local dive shops, online stores, or online classifieds. I have made purchases from all three and find each have their conveniences and risks. My favorite equipment supplier however, is Leisure Pro.

I first learned about Leisure Pro from a fellow camp counselor while completing the PADI Open Water certifcation course as part of a "Cops and Kids" event conducted by Paladin Community Services. I was using a mixture of equipment which was borrowed from others or issued to me by the Sheriffs Office where I work. I quickly found myself uncomfortable with the standard mask and had to borrow a purge mask to complete the course. The camp counselor who had loaned me the purge mask said I’d be able to find a good selection of masks at good prices on Leisure Pro. Soon after completing my Open Water certification I had made my first purchase from Leisure Pro.

The current state of the economy is affecting participation in hobbies, and diving is no different. Having less disposable income means equipment purchases need to be made carefully and after research to find the best value for your dollar. Leisure Pro offers a large selection of quality products, fair prices, and good customer service.

Since first learning about Leisure Pro I have made several purchases for my family and me. Each purchase has gone hassle-free and I have been able to purchase wetsuit and snorkel packages for my wife, son, and daughter without "breaking the bank". My experiences with purchases from Leisure Pro have been good and I recommend them to anyone looking to purchase scuba equipment.

When it comes to making your scuba equipment purchases you have many options on where to buy. I believe in providing some support to the local dive shops, and some good deals can be found in classified ads. However, when you’re in the market for new scuba related equipment, do your research, and you’ll most likely end up at LeisurePro.com.

Thanks for taking the time to read my thoughts.

Stay safe and stay wet.

I was doing research on where to buy scuba equipment and I read somewhere LeisurePro sells gray market stuff. Is there any truth to this rumor?
