Well, I am officially certified, woohoo! Who wants to go diving with me??

Second day was good. I finished my skills with no major issues. We did 6 dives total between the two days and once I got past being nervous, everything was great.

Saw a lot of sheepshead and grouper. And we found the octopus on my last dive. Mark (my instructor) had been looking for her but she had moved on him. That was really exciting. She was up under a rock so only got to see about half of her, but awesome just the same. We saw a crab that looked like a spider, I don’t remember what it was called though. A cowfish, hermit crabs, and a lot of small fish that I couldn’t begin to identify. Even though the visibility wasn’t that great, I did get to see a lot of neat things. Hope a few of the pictures turn out at least.

So, anyway...I’m ready to go diving, just say when ;oP

Diving4Fun - 9/14/2009 8:54 AM Great feeling isn’t it? Glad to hear all went well. Before the first dive (at my OWC) I was really nervous. But once I got in the water and went down to dive platform, all was well. Sounds like you had a good instructor. I am a broken record, but a true instructor makes all the difference. Where have you dove so far?
