6-16-07 - SAR training dive at Lucerne on Lake Chelan. There are some ore cars and possibly a tractor that were sunk off the shore at this location. 47 degrees - very low vis, 3 to 5 feet. Dive buddy CV and I went down to 65` and then went back to 20` to follow the shoreline. The river coming into the lake at this location stirs up the sediment. On our second dive we did find some old tracks and the wheel of an old oar car, possibly from when they added material to create the Lucern cabin area for the Chelan Boat Club. Later info suggests we try diving out from the current Lady of the Lake Dock for the ore cars at @ 90`.
