Seattle Aquarium DOME Diver Training
Training in the DOME has been a very educational experience. Initially, I was concerned about the larger fish when we`re feeding them. My biggest surprise was that the Salmon are the most aggressive, coming at me full bore in a feeding frenzy. Learning that a 2nd Diver has to distract them on the opposite side of the tank while I feed the other fish. Looking foreward to continuing dives and education in the DOME and on to the WOWW (Windows on Washington Waters) Tank....

Bonifide Aquarium Diver, Finally!
Took my first tank dive 10/06/07. Absolutely cool. It`s rainy and cold in Seattle. I suit up and drop into a 25,000 gallon (smallest of 3 tanks) 72 degree tank with Sharks, Morays, Puffers and a variety of tropical fish. Wow. Just Wow! I mean Wooooooooooooow! The sharks don`t seem to care, one of the Morays swam through between my legs and the Puffers just keep cruising by, checking me out every turn. I didn`t want to get out but I`m only packing a 50.
