Fix your pic with Irfanview
So I was playing around with Irfanview last night. It`s a small little nifty program that`s less than 2 MB but worth its weight in platinum. You can a batch process an entire directory of your green pics and make all the reds come out stunningly afterwards. Irfanview is freeware. File -> BatchConversion/Rename Drag and drop all the pics in your source directory of green pics, into the empty "input files" on the left. GRRR I want my crackers ...
Went diving with http://www.southfloridadiving.com/ launching out of Hillsborough on the morning of Sun Sept 16. It was a full catamaran. Topside was disorganized, but at least the dives were good. My dive buddy and I were not seated together - infact, we were on opposite sides of the boat ... On Ladygo Diver they would`ve just told ppl to move down one and if it was Divemaster Worth, he`d move your stuff for you. This divemaster w/ South Florida Diving was not that good. So I went diving ...
... and I encountered a Spotted Drum fish. This is a cool little fish that just kept on swimming the same pattern over and over. The pattern wasn`t much larger than 2` x 4`. I perched my chin within 6" and the cute little critter paused, and looked at me, then and continued with its little figure 8 pattern. What if I put my hand in its path? Well it just did a large oval on the side that wasn`t blocked, until I removed my hand and then it went on it`s happy figure 8 again. Cute little fish. See ...

I`m bummed ... one of my dive buddies/coworkers is heading out to Australia til Sept for work. Lucky SOB. He`s got tons of exp ... as a dive master/guide on a liveaboard, but programming computers is dull but pays the scuba bills. I thought I didn`t use that much air (SCR btwn 18-19 psi/min for AL-80, wicked current cranks it up to 30), but he uses less - but I`m getting there. I guess it comes w/ the experience. I`m hoping to get divemaster cert by the end of the summer. It`ll be a nice sidelin...

... means no diving for me today - I should`ve gone on yesterday`s night dive w/ SFDH. But conditions started out good and just deteriorated slowly throughout the day. There is the Speigel grove next weekend ......

Where to go this coming weekend ... south florida diving HQ, Dixie Divers, ProDive, AmericanDream2 ... hummm 2 boat dives and perhaps 1 beach dive weather permitting of course !!! Maybe do a Nursery to Copenhagen beach dive - that` ll give u a leg workout !!! 650m snorkle out from the beach w/ trusty dive flag - wish the dive flag atop my torpedo was massive - or at least bigger :)...
