This freighter that ran between Puerto Cortes Honduras and San Andres Island, sank around 1990 near Utila Keys, was salvaged by AKR and sunk at it’s present location.
230’ hulk, placed in 97, broken by Mitch in 1998 just forward of bridge sits upright on sand at 110’ surrounded by reef, large green moray under port bow, Garden Ells off stern.
Visited this site in February 2010. The wreck rests at 100’. The mast of the ship is at 50’. This wreck broke into three sections after Hurricane Wilma. There are now three swim throughs. Green eels are numerous. Very good dive! Dive was conducted by Coconut Tree Divers out of Roatan - very accomodating, very professional. Oh, forgot to mention - saw Eagle Rays on both dives
