Horseshoe reef is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located at Escambron park, San Juan, PR 00902, Puerto Rico. The maximum depth is 26-30ft/8-9m. The average visibility is 21-25ft/6-8m.
The Horseshoe Reef: is located east of the Figure 8 reef, with natural caves, tunnels and overhangs. Various types of fish in caves such as copper sweepers, snappers and black margays along with sea cucumbers and an occasional spiny lobster or langostine lobster. Good for novas divers but dive guide highly recommended. Sometimes currents, so area not accessible every day.
