 Small Great white caught and released off Seaside NJ

110 pound shark was caught about a mile off the beach. For those of you not familiar with Jersey diving that’s way inshore from the wrecks.

We have always said every Jersey dive was a shark dive, we just couldn’t see them in the limited viz.

I do remember a few good viz days and yes then we saw the sharks but still not close enough for photos :(

I was in Shark River Inlet the day before, would be awesome to see one live.

Years ago in Shark River inlet there was a Humpback feasting on the Bunker just outside and I could hear it :}
I have been in the water with Great Whites in Mexico where the water was a lot clearer and you could see them. I clear water where they can see what we are they don’t seem interested in our boney bodies :)

I think there is a video on YouTube with the humpback feeding in Shark River Inlet.
