What’s the technique you’re using there - looks like a piece of mackeral tied to a pvc pipe? At the Denver Aquarium we use tongs and chainmail gloves to hand out the goodies.

pvc and attached to it is a small tube the size of a straw. We then slide the piece of mackeral (or whatever we’re feeding) onto the small tube. We used to feed by hand, but the aquarium got nervous someone could get hurt. We only wear regular gloves; no chainmail.
