It is a nice looking unit but I do not see any real use for it other then looking good. Without an octo you are not going to be able to rescue someone else, that is the best reason I can see for needing a rapid response unit. With only a 20 cu/ft tank you will not be going deep or long so I also do not see a need for the BCD and if you are going into a confined space to rescue someone the BCD could be a hazard. For rapid response I would use a commercial diving harness(very low profile), a 30 cu/ft tank(also low profile), a reg with 2 second stages and a SPG, nothing else.

I thought this was cool when it came out but you may as well put on the full rescue stuff so you can start a search if you don’t land right on the object. The SAR is what I’d like. It has a harnes built in to keep you tetherd to the tender. I do see the advantage of the small quick and easy-to-don package though.

I’m not a big fan of the bend in the SPG hose. They should have designed a 1st stage with multiple ports next to each other in a row so all the hoses can point up.

I agree. You would think they would at least put a 90 elbow on there to remove the stress on the hose.
