I saw a similar item in a dive shop for quite a bit of money(for what it is made of that is) and I said to myself I already have some old climbing rope at home all I need is the noodles. Total cost... maybe $3. I may make another one and tie knots on each side of the noodles but we will see. Did you make yours out of pvc pipe? I like the cushioning of the noodles.
