Ladders need to have non-slip rails to hold onto while climbing up. Many boat ladders have a tendency to be straight up and down causing you to lean backwards to try and get out of the water or else your weight on your feet are pushing the ladder under the boat making it even more difficult to climb. If the surface is choppy or your in a current the task becomes even more difficult and hazardous. I’ve slipped and fallen off a boat ladder several times even without fins because I didn’t have anything to hold onto entering the boat. Like in the picture above there is nothing at the top of the ladder to hold onto for balance to pull yourself onto the boat.

Very good point. I agree, more non-slip handles to hold onto when entering the boat from a ladder.

With the catamaran style hull all you need is a little longer bow and drop down ramp between the hulls (which goes 2-3 feet under water) with a ladder for very easy boat entry in any conditions.

How about some bow thrusters to hold our location over the site so we don’t have to drop an anchor and risk damaging anything.

Is that even a real thing? I think you are referring to a futuristic space craft.

Standard practice these days.

That is awesome! Not sure if it’s worth the cost. I think I’d rather attach to a mooring. OR just drop divers off and cruise around in circles. But if money were no object, bow thrusters would be cool.

I don’t know about anyone else ... how about a Head!

That’s what a wetsuit is for :) OR just aim leeward over the side of the boat. Ladies, you can use this to pee standing up:

What about an elevator that starts at 4 feet under the water
so I don’t have to remove my two bottles of air in the 2 decon bottles. I don’t
see any dive flags either, I do like the color though.
When will it be done?

That’s what divemasters are for...to help remove/load all gear. There also isn’t a DiveBuddy sticker...What’s up with that!?

Actually, that’s not a bad idea - how about a winch and cradle assembly for hosting disabled divers, as well as helping to get all of that lovely sunken treasure we’re always discovering?

Now that you put it that way, that does sounds pretty cool. That should help send the cost of the boat up a bit. But it would be a cool feature. All though, you’d have to weigh the cost between that and hiring a couple deck hands to pull stuff up manually ;) Put your back into it man!

Yeah no kidding Richard! Hopefully more people will do what you have done so we have more places to stay off-shore.
