Thanks for your comments Mermaid. This spot is about 11 hours drive North of Perth in Western Asustralia. It is called Peron Peninsular and is only accessible by 4 Wheel Drive. Its in a world heritage area called Shark Bay (Guess why) Standing where this picture was taken we looked down on to the deserted beach and watched a pod of dolphins come right in to shore. (They were actually running up onto the sand) Interestingly one of them was giving birth and there were lots of youngsters with them.About 19 in all. I`ll post another picture of them in a minute but my laptop died yesterday so I am not sure if I have the pictures to hand. Anyway two sharks were hovering around the dolphins, one Hammerhead and one BIG Tiger Shark - I estimate about 14` If they got too close two of the dolphins would break away from the main group and swim at flank speed toward them and chase them away! Awesome.
