No, I didn’t contact the police. They were found in a creek in a popular hunting area. I assumed they were from a hunters canoe tipping over. It’s a 99 savage in 308 from the 50’s or 60’s. I guess they could’ve been used in a crime, but I kind of doubt it in that rural area.

Ok it looks like a pond that might be along a road. Pretty cool though. I love finding stuff and trying to imagine where it came from and how it got there.

Were the police contacted about those? Being found in water usually means a crime was committed with them.
