They come in very handy, but the biggest drawback to them is it is sometimes hard to keep friends off of them. It is so easy to climb up everyone wants to do it. Many arguements have began with my denial to let people up there with no harness on. I haven’t had the boat for long and just learning, so I have not used them but once so far.
