Hello everyone, I am a new diver however, I am very competent in the water. I have been serving in the Navy for the past 8 years as a helicopter search and rescue swimmer. I am always looking for people to go diving or to just hang out, so if you need a buddy feel free to email me.

Please keep me in the loop on your plans to dive in the area. Especially the quarry. The wrecks off Virginia’s coast are a blast. I am a new diver as of last year (totally consumed) and these are the only open water dives I have been on...excluding my Check out dives completed in Panama. Just this past weekend we went to the Cuyahoga (a coast guard cutter) and the Lillian Luckenbach which are still pretty intact. Good times.


Anyways I have several dive buddies in the area and if I can get away from the misses and my twin boys (somewhat of a challenge) I am always open to spend my free time in the water.

Man would I love to. I just got out of the house last weekend and there is no way momma is staying home with the boys again while daddy goes diving. LOL... I feel your pain though on the dive buddy search. I am trying to find someone for a dive in California week after next and it’s not happening like I thought it would.

Hey Jason, thanks for the add. I haven’t done any diving around VA yet and I’ve been waiting for the weather to get warmer. I’d love to have a confident dive buddy. I’ve been diving since 2008 but I’ve only logged 20 dives. The navy took up quite a bit of my spare time as I’m sure you understand lol. When the weather permits, let’s dive!

i feel you on the warmer weather. I think I will be back in around march to april... might do a few warm up dives at one of the quarrys. before hitting some wrecks.
