I have dove almost exclusively in Monterey and Big Sur and now would like to dive tropical. I am a fair weather diver here, have 2 dive kayaks looking to become a dive master and back into research. I used to be a research diver about 20 years ago, and then I moved to Sacramento and have done very little diving since then. I moved back to the Monterey Peninsula, and went to Hawaii a few years back and really enjoyed the warm water and have decided to get back into diving in a strong way. I have a flexible schedule and like to dive during the week. If the conditions are perfect, hit me up.
An update, been making tropical dives since I first posted this. I have been to Aruba, Kauai,Maui, and Mexico. I am headed to the Bahamas in May. I hope to be certified as a rescue diver before leaving in May. Working on my Master Scuba Diver, I’ve put Dive Master on the shelf for now. I am advanced PADI and NAUI. Also specialties in NIght diving, Underwater scooter and Nitrox.
Most of my dives in Monterey have been in the same cites. My challenge is to do all 52 sites I am aware of in Monterey.
So far I have dove; Breakwater, the wharf, San Carlos Beach, Mcbee, Off the Aquarium, Hopkins, Lovers Point, Monastery, Whalers Cove in Point Lobos, and Big Creek in Big Sur.
