My Highest Ranking Certification: Divemaster (SEI)
I have been diving since 2012, when I first received my Open Water Diver Certification from Scuba Educators International (SEI), which used to be the former YScuba Program, which ironically, few people here in the southeast have heard of this organization. I continued on to Advanced Open Water Diver Level 2 & 3, D.R.A.M, and Divemaster, as my SEI Leadership Certification. I also obtained a variety of Specaility Certifications such as, Nitrox, Search & Recovery - Public Safety Diver Level 1, Ice Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Equipment Specialist, and obtained CMAS 2 and 3 Star Diver Cards, and CMAS 1 Star Instructor Card, finally ending my SEI career with over 100 divers.
Moving to Charleston, South Carolina, everything here is PADI! So fully embraced the change in my diving experience and education. I took the challenge of doing the PADI Divemaster course, as I was not comfortable becoming a PADI Instuctor with not having any background with the PADI Diver Education System. Now, I have become totally immersed within the PADI diver education system. I have completed the PADI core cirriculum, just short of completing my DiveMaster course, plus having completed the specialties of Whale shark diver, Nitrox, and Manatee Diver. Hopefully, I will get the last two specialties that I need for my Master Scuba Diver.
