Packages
The packages I offer to Old Providence are all inclusive with accommodations, dives, and meals included in one reasonable price of $799 for an 8 day 7 night 6 double dives and 2 meals per day. This is the most common trip but can be modified to fit your club/individual desires by adding or subtracting days, dives or meals. Generally it runs $114/night for additional night, dives and meals.

The Resort and Dive Operation
This resort is centrally located in the tourist district of Agua Dulce or Sweet Water, within a ¼ mile along the road you will find a internet café, coffee shop, grocery and several restaurants within walking distance. Besides the simple and cozy accommodation there is a restaurant, gift shop, scooter\golf cart rentals on site. The rooms are roomy with bathrooms, refrigerator, TV and a balcony. Set in tropical Caribbean setting they have accommodation for up to 35 people.

The dive shop/boat is a just a short walk from the resort. A full service PADI shop with rental equipment available. There are 2 boats capable of accommodating up to 15 people each. Most of the dive sites are within a 5 to 10 minute boat ride and usually they return to the shop/beach for the surface interval.

The dive shop and resort is family owned and operated and service orientated, anyone will be able to help you with organizing any other activities such as extra dives, horse back riding, treks to The Peak, fishing, kayaking or sightseeing.

Getting to Old Providence
The only city servicing flights to Old Providence is thru San Andres. There is an 18 seat island hopper making the 20 minute flight, 2 to 4 times a day depending on season. Approximately $100 one way

Getting to San Andres
There are several daily flights into San Andres Island but none from America . From America you have to fly through Bogotá, Cali , Cartagena , Barranquilla , Medellin , Colombia or Panama City , Panama . You can get to any of these cities from any major cities in America on several airlines.

Hi Tad, not sure where I will dive, I do not have a boat. I have found a group in Ft lauterdale (Gold coast divers) that seems to have a dive almost everyday. I would love to dive on a wreck but not one to deep as I am only open water certified. I also don’t want to drive too far but 2 hrs or so is not out of the question. I have been to Key Largo and loved it and would go there again. I am open to suggestions. I also want to try lobstering. get in touch with me, you can call me at 973 219 3998. I also have the phone # of a member in lauterdale who wants to hook up. Thanks Rob.

Hey, thanks Tad. I’m looking forward to Bonaire for sure! I just bought a housing and external flash for my point and shoot camera so I should have photos to share too!
