I am looking for a dive buddy to travel with as my wife does not dive. I am hoping to go to Cozumel Jan 3 thru the 10th 2017. Would stay at the Scuba Club. Any chance you would want to go? Double occupancy is so much cheaper. I have been there two times already so I know the landscape. That aside I also dive Monterey with my favorite spot being Monastery in Carmel.

Hi Lee, I think I stayed at Scuba Club Cozumel with a dive buddy a few years ago, too. I loved it. I can’t travel at that time, though. I’m a public school science teacher, and taking even one day off is a ton of work in terms of setup and grading, and the quality of substitute teachers is (obviously) kinda hit-or-miss. But hey, I love Monastery, too! Lots of great shore dives in Monterey & Carmel... maybe try to plan a dive during my winter break?
