Oh, and I should have mentioned Happy Thanksgiving to you as well Carla. Enjoy your day with Family and it was very nice to meet you. I’ve been warned to get dry suit cert prior to Bonne Terre. I’d like to see it soon.

I wore 7mm with hood and gloves. Because I’m a sissy and like warm waters, have not succumbed to dry suit and cold water diving.

Hello Warren— My first dive after certification (in Beaver Lake, AR was in the Bonne Terre Mines, MO. I’m spoiled now and prefer to dive in the Caribbean. You gotta keep diving to get better.

Right on! 👍. I failed my first checkout dives down at oronogo near Joplin. second time around I go of a strip mine called Crystal Lake down near Sedalia back in June.
