Welcome to this semi-quiet realm of Scuba social disorder. You seem relatively local so if you want to get some weekend fun dives in some of us get together at Carter Lake at the Saddle on Sunday mornings to buddy up. You might want to make a trip down there once to get a feel for it before committing. Usually diving between 0800 and 1100.

It’s been a while since I dove at Carter Lake, but I’m still in the area and would like to start diving more. I have everything except tank and regulator.

I’m biased I guess because as shops go I’ve only been getting my stuff from High Plains Scuba in Fort Collins. Since your profile says Lyons you might want to check out 2 shops I know of in Boulder: Weaver’s Dive and Oceans First. I think Oceans First has a local recreational dive fill program where you pay a fee and get unlimited air fills.

No worries. I look forward to seeing some weekend. If you end up wanting to dive with us after getting to know us a bit, the current procedures for diving Carter or Horsetooth involve calling the Rangers the day before the dive then calling again at the dive completion.
