I grew up in SoCal and spent all my summers and many winters at Newport Beach or the surrounding area. Learned to snorkel and swam like a fish but never had the opportunity to scuba so it’s been on the bucket list for some time. Either had the time or the money, but never both together. Now I do and so I’m taking advantage of living at the beach in NC. Looking forward to learning and diving here. So far so good. Just need another trip out to complete OW certification.
