43 Dive Master. I volunteer at the Scuba Tank in Valparaiso Indiana. The shop deserves my time, Chuck and his staff are the best, most flexible, and most affordable in the midwest, that I’ve seen. Come see what southern Lake Michigan has to offer! You can get information from me here, go to scubatank.com, or give us a call at 219-477-4454 . . Look for us this year for special group dives at Haigh Quarry, or our other local spots. Come brush up your rescue skills, or contact us to practice your open water skills, when we are out and about certifying new divers. If you are interested in Diving Southern Lake Michigan we have scheduled chartes that are filling fast. Or we can refer you to the right Charter sevices for what your wanting to see.

I ran out of characters on the last one so here’s the rest. There is no diving outside the cages. You really wouldn’t want to. The sharks are huge and come right up to the cages anyway. If you want to go on the trip of a liftime, I highly recommend Great White Adventures.

Hi! This is an awesome trip. I go with this company: www.greatwhiteadventures.com Click on "Destinations" then on "Isla Guadalupe" I always go on the 5 day "Searcher" trip. The crew of the Searcher are the best! They know what they are doing and they are a lot of fun too. There are other outfits that go out to Guadalupe but Lawrence Groth (owner of Great White Adventures) is the pioneer of the cage diving out there. He has a 100% safety record and I’ve never been skunked on a trip. There were always sharks. The boat leaves out of San Diego and it’s a 22 hour boat ride out to Guadalupe. The trip costs $2850 but it’s worth every penny. The vis at Guadalupe is 100+ with a temp of around 73 degrees. All you need to bring is a 7mm wesuit, hood, gloves, and boots. 73 degrees sounds warm but after you stand in a cage for an hour it can get chilly. We are hooka’d to a compressor on the boat so no scuba tanks are involved. We have unlimited air.
