I have been scuba diving since 1999. I am an advanced open water and I want to become a dive master one day soon. I dive about twice a week here in Washington State, good old fashioned cold water diving. I dive in Canada quite frequently as well. I have nearly a thousand dives. I love the additional freedom of warm water diving - no dry suits, less weight, much better visibility, a dramatically different array of animals to look at and of course, you don`t freeze your behind off. I am trying to develop dive buddies in the warm water locales I get to because I am finding that I enjoy warm water boat dives less and less - just too many people jammed onto one boat, plus I have pretty good air comsumption, so I usually have to come up well before I would like to. Also, I like to linger when I see something that interests me and generally you can`t do that if you are on a dive boat operation. It’s like you are on a tour that has to be over in an alloted amount of time. So, I hope to see you on a shore dive in warm water soon. And if you ever get up to Seattle, e-mail me and we`ll go chase some giant octopus and six gill sharks!

Aloha Le Roi, welcome to divebuddy. Well if you get tired of that cold water stuff, come on out here. Warm water, and good times. Oahu has some great diving, and cheap diving too. All the shore dives you can stand.
