I`ve been to Hawaii, Bahamas, The Flower Gardens, the Oriskany, the Bonne Terre mine in Bonne Terre, MO. just to name a few. I dive every chance I get. Mostly I dive in Greer’s Ferry right now. It’s close to Little Rock but last week it was 48 degrees at 85 feet. 60 degrees on the surface. My "real job" keeps me to busy to go on cool diving trips right now.


I finally got my Master Diver card and have moved on to my TXR Training. I’ve passed Advanced Nitrox, my next move is Advanced Decompression Procedures and Trimix. I LOVE to dive wearing my tech gear more than my recreational gear. I usually only take my recreational gear if I have to fly, it’s lighter (no back plate).


All my gear is Apeks and Suunto. :) Some Dive Rite too. I own a set of 100 CF doubles with Tec 3 regs, a 120 CF with an XTX 50 reg and a 40 CF pony (usually with EAN 50). I have an O2 checker and a Trimix checker (even though I don’t have my trimix card yet). Toys, toys, TOYS!!!!!!...........


I can’t wait to get my Dive Rite Nitek X for TRIMIX!!!!!!!!

Hi John, The diving in Fort Smith is non-existant! We go to Tenkiller OK, Ouchita in Hot Springs or Beaver Lake. A friend is trying to get me back into lake diving (because his girlfriend doesn’t like lake dives!). Most of my dives are tropical. Loved Honduras. Grand Caymen was least favorite due to size of the swells when we were there. We travel to Florida for long weekend trips sometimes. Sounds like our dive experiences are similar! My first dive trip (for open water cert) was to Florida and I woke up that day to 3 inches of snow!! They made us dive anyway : ( but even that dive was better than my sting ray City dive! ha I’ll have to tell you about that one sometime...Good luck on your certifications..If we go to Hot Springs soon we’ll send you a note and maybe you (and girlfriend of course) can join us!
