The PADI specialties I have completed include: Boat, Equipment Specialist, Underwater Hunter, Underwater Naturalist, Multilevel Diver, Drift Diver, AED for Divers, Hazardous Marine Life Injuries, Oxygen First Aid...
My next specialty will probably be Dry Suit or Nitrox. I just bought a Mares. Can’t wait to try it in cold open water. Did I say "cold" open water?
I’m looking for other unique PADI specialties, such as Kayak Diver. This course was apparently available in Monterey Bay. If you have knowledge of a "distinctive" PADI specialty, along with when and where it is being conducted please message me with the info.
"WARNING! DO NOT dive with SI TECH hose before the insert has been" youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QF4rsPzhoGY I inquired at the Mares booth was informed this mistake has been previously made by another manufacturer. Seems the logic is sound, but the method fails. After revealing my notion of how to correct the problem to prevent failure, the man said, "If you don’t do it you will void the warranty." It’s such an odd oversight. I’m not dry suit certified yet. However, while I will perform the task, I intend to NOT get bit by the new concern from discarding the plastic insert.
Look, I really don’t like this "fix." Anyone who knows of a hose the meets the original equipment specifications of this dry suit AND knows their solution will fit properly, please give me the part number. I really do want to say under the original design criteria. Or I may change-out my relief valves to match a new hose.
