Aloha, Glad to make your aquaintance. I too have my own gear and I try to dive at least once a week. usually sat or sun as I work mon-fri in kona. I do, however, dive in the early morning from time to time. I really like getting in early while the night creatures are still about somewhat. I live in Waikoloa village but work in Kona. But all I usually need is an excuse to go. I have a few other dive buddies and really like to get a nice group together to dive. We had six doing a 6am dive at the harbor a couple of weeks ago. I dove Puako 38th house last weekend. Hopefully we can go soon. I keep my gear ready all I need is the word.

I’ve been diving around Kona this past month........ I did the Manta dive with Kona Dive company..... utterly awesome! We rent out our condo at the Kona Reef (E13).... check it out on VRBO if you are going to Kona between October and next May, great views on the ocean. Shore diving within 200 yards! two beaches at the complex. You can live without a car.
