I was reading an interesting article in Scuba Living about Wreck Dives and I wanted to get everyone’s opinion. What do you think? Should a wreck, that has confirmed loss of life, be considered a sacred grave site and left alone or is it OK to take souvenirs? I for one believe it is a grave site and should be treated with respect, but are you not respecting the site and honoring the dead by treasuring the items removed from that site?

lerpy - 8/23/2011 9:48 AM The general feeling up here is all wrecks should be preserved. If everyone keeps picking at them it will leave nothing for others to look at. I do my best to not even touch them when diving.

Greg - 8/09/2011 11:01 AM I don’t think you should take anything from a wreck unless you discovered it and you abide by all local laws and salvage rights.
