She’s blind. They have the tendency to go sun blind from being out in the sun all the time. They are amazing creatures, though. Feeding them was such a pleasure and an honor.

That one looks like a lot of people have had the honor of feeding it...it’s huge! I didn’t realize they go blind from being in the sun all the time.

LOL Nuka is a pretty big girl. She’s so sweet. It’s pretty funny; they don’t have teeth, so they actually just inhale the fish. It’s like getting your hand stuck in a vacuum cleaner hose...

Hey Danny,
How did you wind up feeding my best girl, Nuka, at the Aquarium? I used to assist the animal handlers when I was on the Volunteer Dive Team and Nuka was hands-down my fav. Otis, the sea lion, is a special boy, too.
