Hello, I live in Silicon Valley and have about 50 logged dives in a variety of conditions - tropical easiness (Bonaire), freshwater (Florida caverns and springs, quarries), and cold-water surge (Monterey and Carmel Bays). Advanced open water (PADI) certified with several boat, deep, and night dives. In Monterey Bay, I typically do shore dives with the occasional boat trip and have been to almost all the shore sites within Monterey and Carmel. I dive Monterey about once a month with a buddy of similar experience that I trust and we typically try to get 2-3 dives in a day.
