Drop me a line on Yahoo messenger or email on Yahoo to captcurtis255. Certified as a rescue diver and paramedic instructor. Love rapelling and obviously diving. I have dived at Stillhouse, Whitney and Wendy Point in central Texas. Stillhouse is by far the best, that I have dove so far. Texas Parks and Wildlife even states it is the 3rd cleanest lake in the state. My gear includes a couple of 80’s, three various thickness wet suits, Genesis React Pro computer, Sherwood Avid BC and Sherwood Maximus Regulator, then all of the necessary accessories to go along with it. I love meet new and old divers......weeelllll, old may not be appropriate, how about seasoned or experienced. There, that’s better. Anyway, love diving with anyone. Drop me a friend request and lets get wet and dive happy. I am on there all the time and will answer promptly. Well, obviously I needed to update this. I have done diving in the Bahamas and also do pics and underwater video. Also updated all my gear. Currently doing my dive instructor course. As always get wet and dive happy.

Guess I should be a little more specific, the Labor Day trip will be to St. Thomas Virgin Island.

Hello Fellow Divers! I am needing some input, information, and/or recommendations. Planning on a Labor Day Weekend trip from Sept 2-5 or 6. Needing to know what places that are good to stay. Went through several travel agencies and some say that they can get an all inclusive (which is what I am looking for) while others say they cant get those. What I have so far is: Sugar Bay Resort; Bolongo Resort; and Frenchmans Marriott Resort. Also, what personal gear should I take with me? Any and all thoughts and recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Depending on where you are located, Cozumel can be very economical. I go there twice a year on the average.
Jaydiver - 6/28/2016 11:27 PM
Contact me if you want more information. Actually our dive group in Victoria, Texas has a trip planned 3-10 September to Cozumel. My email is jaywalthall0822@att.net.

Planning on a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands next May. Any one have ideas on where to stay and what to do...other than diving. Got to keep the little lady interested and myself during those dry times.

Airline

"Model R-260-X-L by The Air Line is a high quality hookah dive system
enabling divers to dive without scuba tanks as deep as 85 feet,
depending on the number of divers on the system. Powered by a commercial
grade Honda engine that drives a continuous-duty Thomas Industries
compressor, the R-260-X-L delivers 12.5 cubic feet of air per minute,
and runs for three hours on just two and a half quarts of gas. The
R-260-X-L comes as a complete two-diver system, but it can support up to
four divers with optional “Add Diver” packages, while taking up
substantially less space than the necessary scuba gear for a comparable
amount of diving. Bottom line: The R-260-X-L allows multiple divers to
do lots of diving while eliminating the hassles of wearing, filling, and
transporting bulky scuba tanks."

Now my concerns are: with the engine exhaust in close to the compressor, what kind of scrubber does it have? Also, 3 hours at depth, what kind of decon will a diver need? Looks interesting but.......

Just wanted to say that I have been on this website for over six years. I have made lots of buddies and have actually dove with some of them. But it is always wonderful to reflect back and see just how closely our dive community is. Everyone on here is always nice and cordial and I am so happy to be adding you all to be my DiveBuddy. This is what makes this site so extremely great everyone watching out and guiding others to wonder sites and insights. Lets keep up the good work. :))
