I don’t mind at all. Well in this area I’ve been to Martha’s, Mermet, Madison Aquatic and a private quarry in Murfreesboro owned by a friend of a friend. I’ve done dives in Lauderdale and Lauderdale by the Sea. I’ve done dives in Pensacola including the Oriskany. I did my check outs along with many other dives in Key Largo. I’m just looking to go anywhere and experience as many new places as possible. I prefer saltwater but I’m game for whatever. I may me going to Jupiter, FL in the next month or 2 hopefully. I’d love to see the sharks they have down there! How about you? What kind of diving do you like?

I like wreck diving the most, I like going inside and seeing whats there. Then its warm water diving! Going through the coral and seeing the sights. Mermet Springs is where I did my wreck cert we penetrated the 747...really cool there. I like the set up at mermet...the cabana’s are sooo much better than the pennyroyal...on a semi busy day its elboe to elboe. There are a couple of quarrys in east tennesse I’m going to dive this summer as well. I want to go to North Carolina and dive wreck alley out of beaufort, nc does any of those dive sites sound good to you?

I’ve actually been in that 747. It was so neat and the closer you got to the cockpit the colder it got. North Carolina would be a blast. There is a submarine there that I have been wanting to dive on but for the life of me I can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head. Where are the quarries in East TN?

The submarine is the U-352 That is one of my bucket list dives! The quarry is called the Loch Low-Minn in Athens, TN. I am in the Tennessee guard and Athens is where my weekend duty is located. I’ll take a day of leave go out there Thursday evening, dive Friday and perform my duties Saturday and Sunday and then return Sunday evening.
