Here is a link to an organization that works with mentally and physically combat wounded service members. They work with people suffering from PTSD. They are doing a fundraiser to help them increase their reach, and ability to work with more people. As divers we know that the underwater world changes our lives. Imagine the change to someone’s live who desperately needs that change. Help them by buying a T-Shirt to show your support. If you can’t or do not want to buy a shirt, at lease share this link so that others can help.

I got to test the light in the development stage, and it was without a doubt the best damn light I have ever used. 5000 lumens on the high setting, and it has a flash and it also has a selection to flash S.O.S. (Great for those of us who love wreck and cave diving) I was completely shocked when I saw the website and they are offering this for a lot less than the other big dive companies like OMS, Dive Rite, Hollis, and even Leisure Pro. Check out the specks, they are starting shipping January.

5000! That is borderline illegal.
mcneal3kl - 12/13/2012 6:33 PM
Where do you find a law that states maximum brightness of a dive light?
Greg - 12/13/2012 6:37 PM
Not sure, I just meant that is pretty bright.
mcneal3kl - 12/13/2012 6:40 PM
It is bright. It is specifically designed for cave and wreck diving, and I must say on the bright setting it lit 120’ cavern. There was no wondering what was there, we knew. I loved it.

Oh, and so you know, there are three settings. Low is 1500 lumens, med is 3000 lumens, and high was light holding the sun in your hand. They are selectable, and when testing it on low it burn for over 10 hours. High, we bearly got 5.
