Began diving in Germany in the late 70’s. Got my CMAS Bronze cert there. Got my PADI OW in the late 80’s, again in Germany. Have dived in numerous German lakes, North Sea, Canary Islands, Hawaii (4 yrs there courtesy of Uncle Sam), Gulf of Mexico (Tampa), Cozumel, Texas lakes, and Bonaire Deepest dive to date is 130’ (once in Cozumel and once more in Lake Travis). Currently have 180 logged dives. My gear includes Scubapro Mk25/S555 with Oceanic Octo, Oceanic VEO 250 computer, Sherwood Avid BC, Scubapro 5/4 Everflex suit, Cressi Rondine A fins, Cressi Big Eyes mask. I enjoy designing and building my own dive accessories such as navigation boards, wrist slates, underwater traverse lines, and anything else that I can think of. Retired from the Army (MP Corps) in 2000 after 20 yrs. Married 30 years to the same wonderful lady (who has unbelievable patience and understanding). We have one son who is a junior in college (Geaux LSU Tigers). Diving is my passion.
