Dive Operator in Puerto Vallarta, Mexcico. Love diving in Banderas Bay, we see Mantas, and turtles, seahorses, octopus, lots of eels and pufferfish, to name a few. Since we get currents of cold water as well as warm water, the species of fish differ and is not the same every day of the year, so Banderas Bay gets a lot variety of fish, depending on the temperatures of the water. During cold water season we see frog fish , and big eels that hang outside of the rocks and cold water fish that we dont see when the water temps turn to warm waters. Halibut and Big eyes are some of the cold water fish we get to see. Every dive site is different , Los Arcos get a bad rap because it is the most visited dive spot in Puerto Vallarta, but I have taken divers over and over who after the dive has told me it has been their best ever. The winter time the water gets cold and in the summer the water gets beautiful clear and warm. Unlike dive shops who need minimum number of divers to go on a dive trip, we do just take one diver, so you can always have a dive buddy here in pv if you need one. One thing in Banderas Bay , there is not much in shore diving, most all is done by boat. Los Arcos is the closest dive site and takes approximately 30 minutes in a boat to get there from the Marina. Los Arcos has a wall dive the starts at about 60 feet and drops down to about 1,800 feet in depth. When you go diving at this spot, it looks likes the abyss. Amazingly enough it is not that far from shore. You could get there without a boat, but there is a very steep hill to go down and about a 20 min swim to the site. Ive seen it done before. Well thanks for reading and email me if you would like to chat.
